بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
وَمِنْ اٰيٰتِهٖٓ اَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُمْ مِّنْ اَنْفُسِكُمْ اَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوْٓا اِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُمْ مَّوَدَّةً وَّرَحْمَةً ۚ اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَّتَفَكَّرُوْنَ
“And among His signs is that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.”
(QS. Ar-Rum: 21)
From a single soul, He created its mate,
that they might find peace in one another.
Every place becomes sacred
when love is the prayer being said.
The past is a garden,
walked by the One who plants every step.
Bear witness, you who love us —
the angels write your name in light.
Your prayers rise like incense,
and return as mercy upon our days.
Your presence is the dearest gift,
for love is the only currency of the soul.
In every breath, in every silence,
we are drawing nearer.
